DiigiiForever is better with someone next to you. From 20 October, Blizzard starts emailing the Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes that come with every Forever upgrade, and each one lets a friend play the whole launch week without a subscription or game time.
- Codes arrive
- By email, from 20 October (Pacific time)
- What a code gives
- World of Warcraft: Forever from 4 to 11 November, without a subscription or game time
- Skyborne Heroic Pack
- One code
- Skyborne Epic Pack
- Three codes in total
- Warcraft Forever Collection
- Three codes in total
- Beta access
- Not included
- Gift purchases
- Do not come with codes
How it works
- Keep an eye on your email from 20 October. Blizzard has not given an hour, only the date.
- Copy the code from the email.
- Send it straight to the friend you want to bring along.
- Your friend redeems it through Battle.net.
- Forever opens on 4 November at 3:00 p.m. PST, which is midnight in central Europe, and your friend can play until 11 November.
Who to send it to
Forever is part of the normal World of Warcraft subscription, so a friend who already has one does not need your code. It is meant for someone who does not play right now: the friend who left years ago, or the one who has never set foot in Azeroth.
Blizzard calls the people who can use a code eligible invitees and says that other restrictions apply, without listing them yet. We will add them here when Blizzard does. Until then, treat anything more specific you read elsewhere with care.
The other dates around it
- 21 October: the beta closes.
- 27 October to 3 November: early name reservation, up to three characters, with any Forever upgrade.
- 4 November, 3:00 p.m. PST: launch, and the start of the launch week for invited friends.
- 11 November: the launch week ends.
While you wait, the two of you can plan your characters in our talent calculator (opens on another site) or dress them in the Wardrobe (opens on another site).
