What we know

One of the two raids World of Warcraft: Forever launches with, for characters at the level cap. The picture is from Blizzard's reveal press pack.

What is confirmed. Blizzard's reveal fact sheet promises "an entirely new end game starting with two new max-level raids", and the press pack contains artwork of both. This is one of them.

What Blizzard has announced since. Blizzard's 12 September recap confirms a 20-player raid, and its 23 September Legacy article describes a challenge to defeat all 13 of its bosses. The recap also says the new raids unlock on 9 December 2026. Neither article names the bosses.

What is reported but not verified. The location: the heights of Mount Hyjal, where the war against Archimonde was fought. This comes from our research notes of 14 September, compiled from panel coverage rather than from the game.

What we do not have. No boss list, no loot table, no lockout rules. The current client catalog can include encounter names, but these may be events rather than bosses. A client record does not establish that an instance is open or what it drops. Follow its build-specific record for the available evidence.

Getting there

This is the client map of Mount Hyjal, the reported location. The entrance is not marked, because we do not have a verified position for it.

Fully revealed map assembled from client map and exploration textures. Build 1.60.1.69977. Associated by the client filename Interface/WorldMap/Hyjal, not by a direct map-art foreign key. This is client artwork, not a verified in-game map. Artwork © Blizzard Entertainment.
