You currently need an active account to access any of the other forums.
If you are referring to WoW: Forever, the items don’t show immediately in the appearance tab currently. A possible workaround is to disable/re-enable filtering in appearances, though I tested that and it didn’t seem to work for me. It is something that the team is aware of, but I would also recommend using the Bug Report option in beta to report it.
