That is a matter of opinion, Ducknasty. You have made a bunch of threads recently, a lot of them seem to be framing Modern WoW as dead, inferior, or no longer “real” WoW while presenting Forever as its replacement. Several also use deliberately exaggerated or provocative languages, such as “Retail is done”, “T minus 1021 hours until people start caring about WoW again”, and describing other players as “brainless soy faced hype beasts”.
All of those threads were made in General Discussion and not Forever General Discussion, which seems to specifically target Modern WoW players.
You are certainly free to express your enthusiasm for WoW: Forever, or criticize any other version of WoW, but the manner in which you have been creating these threads seems intentional to stir up reaction.
The thread that resulted in the suspension continued this pattern while also directly addressing the people criticizing your posts. Referring to other players as “coping,” accusing them of mass downvoting and flagging you, and describing another poster as a “narcissistic troll Druid” shifted the discussion further toward provoking and antagonizing other users rather than simply sharing your opinion about Forever.
Technically, the soy and other comments could have also resulted in a penalty.
All moderation is done by a Human Moderator and part of that is being unbiased. We look at a post in reference to the Forum Code of Conduct, Forum Guidelines and community interaction.
Also, you very much can contact the Moderation team by putting in a ticket under Account > Can’t Post on Forums. In the future, if you wish to dispute a moderation decision, that is how you’ll want to go about it.
