What we know

One of the nine dungeons announced for World of Warcraft: Forever. The picture is from Blizzard's reveal press pack.

What is confirmed. Blizzard's reveal fact sheet says Forever launches with nine new dungeons and a level cap of 60. The press pack contains a screenshot of each of the nine, and this is one of them.

What Blizzard said about the beta. Blizzard's 17 September beta article lists this dungeon for the first beta week at levels 15–20. That is a beta level range from the announcement, not a minimum level to enter, and we have not checked it in game.

What is reported but not verified. The location comes from our own research notes of 14 September, compiled from panel coverage rather than from the game.

Two names, one place. Blizzard's press screenshot names this dungeon Lordaeron. Blizzard's 12 September recap and 17 September beta article call it the Ruins of Lordaeron, and the beta article gives the same 15–20 range as our research. The client map has the same longer name. We now treat these as one dungeon, a review made on 29 September.

What we do not have. No boss list, no loot, no quest chain. The current client catalog can include encounter names, but these may be events rather than bosses. A client record does not establish that an instance is open or what it drops. Follow its build-specific record for the available evidence.

Getting there

This is the client map of Undercity, the reported location. The entrance is not marked, because we do not have a verified position for it.

Encounters in the client

The Forever client (wow_classic_beta, build 1.60.1.69977) carries map 2999, Ruins of Lordaeron, linked here after a dated review: Blizzard's 12 September recap and 17 September beta article both name the Ruins of Lordaeron, and the client map is named Ruins of Lordaeron. Reviewed 29 September 2026. These names can include events as well as bosses, and a client record does not show that the dungeon is open.
