Share freely
- Screenshots of your journey: views, camps, dungeons, raid kills, your character.
- YouTube videos: routes, kills, explanations, funny moments.
- Field notes: rare spawns, treasures with their coordinates, profession and levelling tips.
- Comments and questions on news, items, classes and other players' posts.
- Links to useful places, such as Wowhead, Warcraft Logs or your own guide.
Warcraft is a game about fighting monsters. Talking about killing bosses, dying, blood, demons and the undead is exactly what this place is for.
Not allowed
- Selling or buying gold, accounts, characters, boosts or levelling for real money, and advertising such services.
- Bots, cheats, hacks, exploits and anything that breaks Blizzard's terms.
- Scams, fake giveaways, fake login pages, and pretending to be Blizzard or RestedRealm staff.
- Abuse, harassment, hate, and sexual content.
- Spam: the same post again and again, or a wall of links.
- Other people's work passed off as your own.
How posts are checked
When you press Post, the text and any picture are checked, usually in a second or two. We use our own rules first, then OpenAI's moderation service. Only the content is sent to OpenAI, never your name, your account or where you are. Private messages are never sent.
If something needs changing, you are told which rule applies and your post stays as you wrote it, ready to fix. If the check is unsure, a person looks at it; that is not a warning. If the check cannot run, your post is saved and checked again shortly.
Reporting
Every post and comment has a Report button. A report never removes anything on its own: a moderator reads it and decides.
What moderators can do
Moderators can approve, remove or ask for a change to a post, and send a note. For repeated or serious problems they can pause posting on an account or ban it. These are always decisions made by a person.
